Philip M. Novak, an associate with the firm, specializes in home repair fraud, commercial and consumer collections, and general litigation. He has worked with Mr. Elizer and Mr. Meyerson since 2001 first as a law clerk, then a paralegal, and now as an associate.
A native Chicagoan, Mr. Novak was raised in the suburbs and now lives in the city. He earned his Bachelor's degree at American University in Washington D.C in 1999. While in the nation's capitol, Mr. Novak worked as a clerk on Capitol Hill for an Illinois Senator and at the International Law Institute. He obtained his Juris Doctorate at the University of Illinois College of Law in 2002, where he was a dean's list student, a finalist in the Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition, and a student attorney for the College's Law Clinic.
Mr. Novak was admitted to the Illinois Bar in November of 2005, and is a member of the Chicago Bar Association and the American Bar Association.
